We spent almost about one and half years to get WSO2 WSF/PHP into shape. However, it took us only about three months to get the Ruby Web services extension to work. Ruby extension is not as advanced as PHP but it is almost there.
One of the key factor behind the quick turn around time for Ruby extension was the experience and learning that we built with PHP extension. Whenever there were problems in case of the Ruby extension, we turned to the PHP extension and asked: "How was it done in WSO2 WSF/PHP"? The knowledge that we gained while working on WSO2 WSF/PHP is a very valuable asset.
