WSO2 Registry team announced the release of 1.1 version today. First and foremost, it has improved performance a lot. And there are many new features added.
In the SOA governance front, the registry has much improved WSDL handling capabilities, WSDL validation, and WS-I validation. These capabilities could be combined to establish good governance practices for the Web services that you want to manage with the registry within your organization.
WSO2 Registry is going to be well tested and put into the battle with it being used as the registry for other WSO2 projects like WSO2 ESB and WSO2 WSAS. It is also used by the WSO2 Mashup server. Hence you could be assured that it is tested for the prime time.
