30 people working just for four months developed more than 500,000 lines of code. That is the story of WSO2 Carbon.
We started second week of October, 2008 and we are completing on first week of February, 2009. That is exactly four months. About 80 standard working days.
We had about 30 people on board. But not all were there for the full time. About three went on Study leave, for about 2 weeks. At least four people, joined later in the cycle, almost in the last month. So effectively, it was about 25 people throughout the time period.
And we have more than 500,000 LOC.
So roughly we are talking about a person writing around 250 LOC per day.
So it was written, so it should be used. WSO2 Carbon, a software engineering marvel.
