The recently released Carbon 4 platform has major enhancements in the way a clustered deployment is managed.
The design model is known as “Worker-Manager Separation”.
The rationale of the design is simple, separate the management aspects of the cluster such as artifact deployments and updates, from worker aspects of the cluster such as serving requests.

These deployment scenarios were extensively tested, and proven to work end to and and enhance WSO2 product cluster efficiency and performance.
