What makes your health decay?

We have so much focus on exercise and gymnasium and the like the days. And green tea, shape up tea, weight loss tablets etc. We also have lot of focus on diet and low fat food.

But all the above hardly work. Why?

The weight loss business and the fitness business and low fat business tell us how important it is to stay fit, and how the various products help. But do they really open our eyes on where the root causes of the problems are?

Well, the root causes of the problems might look like
- bad food
- no exercise

But the real causes are much simple for those than we think. If you think about it...
- your car
- TV
- laptop

When you do not have a car, you walk to the bus halt at least. When you drive, specially in Sri Lanka, the park is too close to the place and you hardly have to walk.
In the car, you are always seated in AC. Very comfortable, unlike in a bus or train.

You sit on your couch, and keep watching it, and you drink and eat, without a sense on volumes. Even if you do not eat or drink, the hours spent in front of TV are action less and asking for health trouble. Unlike TV, you can walk, and work, listening to radio.

Work, that involves physical, not those with laptops are good. Even washing your own car, sweeping your house is good exercise. But work on laptops kills you. You sit and keep watching, more than anything. At least if you stand and use laptop, that leads to some exercise. It is a good idea to keep the laptop on a treadmill, and work. At least that will make sure those exercise equipment acquired and went idle after few weeks of acquisition are put to some use.

Simple things can solve greater problems in the space of health.
